Ganderbal,18th September 2025:In a proud moment for the journalistic fraternity, Editor-in-Chief of Kashmir Global Times, Suhail Maqbool, and Editor-in-Chief of The Kashmir Script, Ajaz Tantry, were today felicitated by SSP Ganderbal, Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS at DPO Ganderbal.
The recognition came in light of their commendable work that led to the emotional reunion of a woman with her biological family after a separation of 32 long years. Their impactful storytelling and dedication to truth played a pivotal role in fulfilling this long-cherished wish of the woman and her family.
During the felicitation ceremony, Appreciation Certificates were presented to both the journalists. SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS praised their relentless efforts and appreciated their journalism by highlighting people’s grievances.
The event marks yet another acknowledgment of how responsible journalism can bring about real change and touch lives in the most meaningful way.
