NSS Volunteers of University of Kashmir Participate in Yoga Day Celebrations, Promoting a Healthy Environment

Srinagar, 21 June 2025: The University of Kashmir proudly celebrated the International Day of Yoga (IDY – 2025) on June 21 at the Athletic Track Sports Ground. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, non-teaching staff, NSS volunteers, and nearby school students.

This special occasion was live streamed across multiple social media platforms, emphasizing the importance of health, unity, and mindfulness in our community.

Organized by the Department of Students’ Welfare in collaboration with the Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine, Srinagar, and under the auspices of the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, the event highlighted the significance of yoga in fostering a healthy lifestyle.
