the District Ganderbal.The Lok-Adalat was held under the Supervision of Mr. Amit Kumar Gupta, Member Secretary, J&k Legal Services Authority & Mr. Ritesh Kumar Dubey, Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Pr. District & Sessions Judge) Ganderbal, and under the guidance of Ms. Nusrat Ali Hakak, Secretary DLSA Ganderbal. Two benches were constituted for amicable settlement of the cases, in which the first bench was presided over by Ms. Mainaz Qadir, Additional Special Mobile Magistrate, Ganderbal and Advocate Younis Saleem Wani was the bench member. The first bench heard cases at the court complex, Ganderbal. The second bench was presided over by Easar Ul Nabi, Munsiff/Judicial Magistrate, Kangan and Advocate Tariq Ahmad Raina was the bench member. The second bench heard cases at the court complex Kangan.A total number of 314 cases were taken up by the two benches, out of which 15 cases were successfully settled and an amount of Rs 1,46,076/- (Rupees One Lac Forty Six Thousand Seventy Six only) was awarded as settlement amount.
