*J&K POLICE DISTRICT GANDERBAL PARTICIPATED IN YOUM-E-ASHOORA PROCESSION HELD AT DAB & GUND
.* *GANDERBAL* *17TH JULY 2024*Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal *Shri Shaymbir-IAS* accompanied by SSP Ganderbal *Shri Sandeep Gupta-IPS* alongwith *Gh Hassan-JKPS* SP Hqr’s Ganderbalparticipated in Youm-E-Ashoora and took stock of the security arrangements put in for taking out the Zuljinah procession and ensured that all possible arrangements and facilities are provided to the devotees at Dab, Kullan and Neilgrath.On the said occasion, SSP Ganderbal accompanied by other senior officers participated in the Mourners Procession. Further, on the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Sandeep Gupta-IPS, District Police served drinking water, juices and other eatable items among the participants and prayed for religious harmony, brotherhood and peace . Moreover, *SDPO Kangan SP Shri Muzaffar Jan-JKPS* and other senior Police officers also participated in the Shia Mourning Procession held in Bota Kullan and Neilgrath of Sub-Division Kangan.It is pertinent to mention here that Ganderbal Police has been very keen from the beginning in providing foolproof security and other possible support to the Shia Community in view of Mourn observance held in the pious Month of Muharram. The senior officers also interacted with the leaders of Shia community and assured them of every possible support. Finally, the Mourners/Devotees thanked J&K Police District Ganderbal and applauded the support provided to them by District Police for making the Muharram Procession successful.
