Saahil Farooq addresses District Body Convention at Ganderbal Expresses Concern over Rising Unemployment , Price Hike, Power Dues and other issues Confronting People in Ganderbal GANDERBAL 07 JULY 2024: Addressing District Body convention of Congress Party Workers of Ganderbal District today, Senior Congress Leader ,President District Congress Committee Ganderbal Saahil Farooq has expressed serious concern over the problems confronting people in Ganderbal, Developmental works have come to standstill, roads are in dilapidated conditions, people are suffering in absence of Drinking /Irrigation Water and ration, non availability of electricity and increase in Power dues and rising unemployment have added miseries to the people,Saahil Farooq said.Senior Congress Leader, told the convention that Congress party has always been committed for equitable development of all the regions and never indulged in any kind of discrimination. We want that every Block and section of the J&K to develop and proper equally, he (Saahil Farooq) reiterated Congress Party’s resolve to serve and strengthen people.Reiterating Congress Party’s resolve to fight against discrimination against any region.Saahil Farooq urged the Party Cadres to remain steadfast in service of the people, for the fact, Congress Party is an instrument of service and it (Congress) would continue to serve them (people) to the best of it’s ability.Referring to the local issues of Ganderbal and Kangan assembly Segments Saahil Farooq expressed anguish over the worst condition of Several Link and measure roads which is being considered a lifeline, connecting Ganderbal with the District (Srinagar , Bandipora) and urged upon the Divisional Administration to take immediate measure for construction repairment of these roads, Restoration of Drinking and Irrigation Water to several areas of Ganderbal and Kangan on priority basis, Stop Increase power dues , Clearance of Garbage from Nagabal Chowk, Stop Harassment of Ganderbal Truck Drivers entering in District, Opening of Minor Mineral Mines in District, Compensation to Willow Wicker Workers of Ganderbal , Black Topping of Gund , Chatergul, Kangan , Manigam , Lar, Nuner, Safapora, Wakura, Sharpathri ,Ganderbal and Phaak Blocks during Current Season ,the widening of Pandach Beehama road will prove to be a milestone in the Development of the Ganderbal District and people and a big source of respite to the people.Urging the Divisional Administration to resolve the issues confronting people of Ganderbal District and elsewhere, Saahil Farooq said that people of Ganderbal have been neglected by own District Administration merely on political lines, but Congress Party would continue to fight for resolution of the problems people are facing in Ganderbal District.On the Occasion Prominent District Congress Leaders Working President Haji Mohd Ismail Kambay, Abdul Ahad Sheikh ,Ab Qayoom , Mohd Akbar Bhat, Sajjad Ah Awan , Syed Chasti, Syed Ghulam, Mir Qasim, Gh Nabi Shah, Bilal Ah Parray ,Aijaz Alam, Bashir Lala, Mumtaz Khatana, Gh Qadir Beigh, Ab Aziz Malik, Mohd Ramzan, Mehraj Ul Din Mir, Gh Rasool Magray, Mohd Maqbool, Mohd Ramzan,Gh Ahmad Tantray, Gulzar Ahmad, Sajjad Ah Wani, Farooq Ahmad, Nazir Ahmad, Aijaz Ahmad, Mohd Yousef addresses the Convention.District Body also Discussed Organizational affairs and took important decisions during Convention ,Several Prominent Political Activist Joined Congress Party and were welcomed for restructural formation of Ganderbal District on Modern Lines.
