*RECOVERED CONTRABAND SUBSTANCE SEIZED.**GANDERBAL**29TH, JUNE 2024**Operation Drugs Free Ganderbal Continues.* In continuation to war against *Drugs,* J&K Police District Ganderbal arrested a notorious Drug Peddler alongwith Contraband Substance in the jurisdiction of Police Post Nagbal.On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri *Sandeep Gupta-IPS* under the supervision of Shri Gh Hassan-JKPS Hqr’s Ganderbal, Police Party led by I/C PP Nagbal during Naka Checking at Warpahoo Shuhama link road a vehicle bearing Registration No. JK01AQ 3910 was stopped. During checking of the Vehicle, Contraband Charas Powder like substance weighing 3.476 Kg’s was recovered, seized and the accused driver was arrested alongwith the said vehicle on the spot who disclosed his identity as *Abdul Qayoom Wani S/O Ali Mohammad Wani R/O Yangoora Ganderbal.* In this regard, Case FIR No. *157/2024,* under relevant sections of law stands registered at PS Ganderbal & further investigation taken up.*Ganderbal Police* requests Community members to share information regarding Drug Peddlers with J&K Police in shaping crime free society and saving future generation from dreadful menace of Drugs.
