*Secretary, DLSA, Ganderbal held review meeting with PLVs and other functionaries of DLSA Ganderbal & TLSC Ganderbal/Kangan, for the effective implementation of the Legal Services Programmes.*Ms. Nusrat Ali Hakak, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Ganderbal, chaired a review meeting of PLVs and other functionaries of DLSA Ganderbal & TLSC Ganderbal/Kangan for the effective implementation of the Legal Services Programmes, today on 26th of June, 2024 at Conference hall District Court Complex, Ganderbal.The meeting was attended by the Officials & PLVs of DLSA Ganderbal, TLSC Ganderbal & TLSC Kanagn.During the meeting, Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Ganderbal while taking review of the effective implementation of the Legal Services Programmes already conducted so far during the year 2024. She stressed Para-Legal Volunteers and other functionaries present their to impart legal awareness to the masses especially the marginalized people of the district and to strive to reach to each and every village/Urban areas of the District in order to raise awareness & maximize the outreach of Legal Services Authorities as well as to spread awareness regarding the availability of free legal services. She urged PLVs and other functionaries of DLSA Ganderbal & TLSC Ganderbal/Kangan to organize more awareness camps in far flung areas of District Ganderbal. She directed the PLVs that on receiving information regarding the arrest of any person in their localities or within the jurisdiction of their centers they shall visit the Police Station and ensure that the arrested person gets legal assistance, if needed, through the nearest legal services institutions and make regular visits to the police stations accordingly
