*J&K POLICE DISTRICT GANDERBAL IN COLLABORATION WITH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS OBSERVED “INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE ACROSS THE DISTRICT.**GANDERBAL**26TH, JUNE 2024*On the directions of SSP Ganderbal *Shri Sandeep Gupta-IPS* and under the supervision of SDPO Kangan Shri Muzaffar Jan-JKPS and DySP HQ Ganderbal Shri Gh Hassan-JKPS, J&K Police District Ganderbal observed “International Day against Drug abuse and illicit Trafficking” across the District and organized awareness rallies, debates & seminars at various schools. Banners & Playcards on ill-effects of drug abuses were displayed at prominent public places to create awareness among the youth as well as society to stay away from Drugs and the Drug awareness rallies were carried out at public places through which people were made aware of ill effects of Drugs.On the said occasion, Senior Police Officers of the District took part in the rallies organised by various schools and parents were advised to pay keen attention towards the behavior of their children and not to put any psychological pressure upon them which could attract them towards Drug menace. They also advised youth to take part in sports activities besides excelling in their academics for proper channelization of their energy.At DPL Ganderbal, Dy.SP DAR Shri Nazir Ahmad administered the oath to Officers and Jawans and pledge was taken to fight against menace of Drugs. Besides, all the Police Personnel of the District took oath that they will fight against Drug Abuse till this severe menace get uprooted wholly and solly from the society.
