In order to promote Educational activities & support the Students and as well as to build good Police-Public relations within the District, J&K Police District Ganderbal under Civic Action Program in collaboration with Municipal Council Ganderbal inaugurated newly established Library Cum Reading Room in Municipal Building at new Bus Stand Adda Ganderbal.
SSP Ganderbal Shri Sandeep Gupta-IPS inaugurated the Library in which Addl.SP Ganderbal Shri Malik Aijaz-JKPS, Shri Gh Hassan-JKPS Hqr’s Ganderbal, Dy.SP DAR DPL Ganderbal Shri Nazir Ahmad, EO Municipal Council Ganderbal, Teachers, Students, Civil Society members, respectables of the District & Media fraternity were also present.
While speaking on the occasion, SSP Ganderbal Shri Sandeep Gupta-IPS stressed upon the students to take studies seriously for their better & successful future, he also impressed upon them that they should also take part in sports activities as it helps to boost Self-Confidence, Concentration, Physical as well as Mental Health. Furthermore, he stated that students should make optimum use of time and channelize their energy in the right directions and take good benefits of newly established Library in the District.
At the end, Community Members, Teachers, especially the students expressed their joy & enthusiasm and appreciated the role of Ganderbal Police for arranging & providing them with such facilities in order to boost their morale which enhances curiosity for Book-Readings and can develop proficiencies in choosing better Educational Careers for Students.
