Chairman Helping Hands of Valley Adv Aqib Ul Ahad Wani greets people on the Eve of Eid ul Adha, Urged People to celebrate this Eid special by adopting eco-friendly practices and caring for our environment. Ganderbal, 16 June 2024* Chairman and Founder helping Hands of Valley (Trust) Advocate Aqib Ul Ahad Wani has extended greeting’s to people of JKUT in General & legal Fraternity in particular on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha. In his eid message Mr Aqib further stated that Eid-Ul-Adha, also known as the “Festival of Sacrifice,” is one of the most significant celebrations in the Islamic faith*. It symbolizes the ultimate devotion and submission to God, memorializing prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering obedience to Allah’s command. He further urged that we should not forget to involve poor masses on this Auspicious Occasion as this holy festival teaches us to strengthen our bond with poor masses & to make them the vital part of our joy & happiness. Mr Aqib also urged people especially youth to avoid bike stunts as most of the road accident cases are reported on the eve of Festivals. Aqib further prayed that may this Eid bring us closer to nature and inspire us to make eco-conscious choices and urged people to celebrate with gratitude for our beautiful planet and spread awareness for a greener, sustainable future. In his Eid message, Aqib urged the people to keep our environment, especially water bodies clean by not littering and throwing sacrificial animal skins and other remains in them. “Maintaining hygienic conditions on this special occasion is everyone’s duty and thus I request the people to cooperate in celebrating this eid more environmental friendly manner. Let’s celebrate this Eid with a pledge that we will positively contribute in keeping our Paradise on earth clean and green. Heartiest Eid Mubarak to all,” he said.
