Lok-Adalat held at Ganderbal. District Legal Services Authority Ganderbal in Collaboration with Tehsil Legal Services Committee Ganderbal & Kangan conducted Lok-Adalat on Traffic Challans & Electricity Bills today on 08th of June, 2024 in District Ganderbal. The Lok-Adalat was held under the supervision & Chairmanship of Mr. Ritesh Kumar Dubey, Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Pr. District & Sessions Judge) Ganderbal, and under the guidance of Ms. Nusrat Ali Hakak, Secretary District Legal Services Authority Ganderbal. The Lok-Adalat was constituted of Two benches for the amicable settlement of cases, wherein the First Bench was presided over by Ms. Mainaaz Qadir, Additional Special Mobile Magistrate, Ganderbal and Advocate Ms. Burjeena Hameed as Bench Member, the 2nd Bench was presided over by Mr. Eassar ul Nabi, Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Kangan and Advocate Mr. Tariq Ahmad Raina” as Bench Member. Overall 156 cases were taken up for settlement out of which 144 cases were amicably settled/Compromised on spot. Rs. 3,80,816/- was awarded as settlement amount.
