*Ex Block President Apni Party, Socio-political worker from Lar and others join JKUM party**Jabbar welcomes, Urged party workers to enhance political activities, public outreach programme in Ganderbal*Srinagar 30 March: Jammu and Kashmir United Movement (JKUM) President and former MLA from Ganderbal, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar, has announced that the like minded parties in J&K will form a grand alliance to face off against their openents in the upcoming elections.According to a statement issued here, Jammu Kashmir United Movement today held a prominent workers meet in Lar ‘A’ which was chaired by party president Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar. During the meeting, , the JKUM president discussed certain party issues and reviewed the performance of the senior party workers in Lar ‘A’.On this occasion, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar urged party senior workers to enhance their political activities as our parties main agenda is to serve the people.Addressing the meeting the JKUM president Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar said that like minded parties in J&K will soon form grand alliance. He said discussions are ongoing to build a “grand alliance” with like-minded groups interested in advancing the welfare of the people of J&K, he added.Jabbar stated that the alliance would unite all the parties in the region to fight for the rights and interests of the people of J&K. Sheikh further said that the vision and agenda of JKUM Party is receiving extensive public acceptance soon after the party was established.At the event, two prominent political workers from Lar ‘A’ Bashir Ahmad Khan Ex-Block President Apni Party and Gh Nabi Rather Senior Socio-political activist joined joined JKUM Party along with their supporters.Greeting the new entrants into the party fold, Sheikh said: “The increasing number of enthusiastic political activists and workers joining the JKUM Party across Jammu and Kashmir is a clear indication of the extensive public acceptance that party is receiving each passing day. And, I believe that it is only because of our unambiguous political narrative and clear-cut vision that earned people’s trust and their desire to join hands with the party. I wholeheartedly welcome Bashir Ahmad Khan and Gh Nabi Rather into the party fold and I hope their joining will strengthen our party cadre further in the Lar area.
