The initiative saw active participation from dedicated NSS student volunteers who enthusiastically contributed to the cause.The plantation drive commenced at Girls Higher Secondary School, Ranawari, where students eagerly joined hands to make the event a resounding success. Their fervent involvement and commitment played a pivotal role in achieving the objectives of the drive.With a vision to foster a greener tomorrow, the NSS Unit took charge of organizing the event, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation and community involvement. Through the collective efforts of volunteers and students alike, the plantation drive witnessed a commendable turnout and garnered significant attention for its impactful endeavors.The drive encapsulated the essence of collaboration and civic responsibility, reflecting the ethos of the NSS Unit and its dedication to social welfare initiatives. As stewards of change, the University of Kashmir NSS Unit remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering sustainable practices and nurturing a greener ecosystem for generations to come.Sabreena Firdous, a student from the Department of Fine Arts, University of Kashmir, emphasized the importance of the plantation drive, stating, Plantation drive is important for every individual, ensuring the safety of the environment and controlling pollution.
