Lok Sabha elections 2024: ADDC Ganderbal holds meeting with Flying Squad teams Impresses on keeping close vigil over all public activities

GANDERBAL, MARCH 20: The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani today held a meeting with the flying squads, designated magistrates, Videographers and other officers in his office chamber, here.The ADDC impressed upon the officers to ensure the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) is strictly followed and violations if any are promptly reported to the concerned quarters.He said that all designated teams have to properly follow the SOPs issued by Election Commission of India and also ensure public safety and convenience.ADDC asked all teams to submit their daily activity reports well in time and also be prepared to reach the spot instantly in case of any complaint received.He also said that magisterial powers delegated to all the heads of the flying squads are aimed to empower them for proper implementation of law and order.On the occasion, the ADDC briefed the videographers accompanying the FSTs about their role and responsibility and asked them to cover each activity sensibly and with utmost care.
