GANDERBAL**18TH, MARCH 2024*Ganderbal Police today organised an awareness Programme on the New Criminal Laws at Govt. Degree College Ganderbal. The event was chaired by SSP Ganderbal *Shri Sandeep Gupta-IPS.* The Programme was attended by Shri Gh Hassan-JKPS Hqr’s Ganderbal, Sr.PO Ganderbal Shri Abdul Aziz Zaindari, Dy.SP DAR DPL Ganderbal Shri Nazir Ahmad, SHO PS Ganderbal Inspector Manzoor Ahmad, Lecturers & Students of Degree College Ganderbal. The event also witnessed significant participation from renowned educationists, social workers and respectable citizens.On the said occasion, SSP Ganderbal Shri Sandeep Gupta-IPS talked about the amended criminal laws and asked the participants that these new laws are being implemented for speedy justice and are time bound. Moreover, Sr.PO Ganderbal provided the participants with a basic understanding of the new Criminal Laws, namely Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam. Dr. Tabasum Prosecuting Officer also throw light on the said theme.The participants present in the event appreciated the role of Ganderbal Police in organising such an important programme & appluaded in providing the much needed awareness to the participants. At the conclusion of the event, Shri Gh Hassan-JKPS Hqr’s Ganderbal thanked all the participants for making the event a huge success.
