In its ongoing process to address the grievances of general public and to identify issues and collaboratively develop solutions that improve Police Community Partnerships, District Police Ganderbal today organised (PCPG) Meeting at Dab in the jurisdiction of Police Post Shadipora. The meeting was chaired by SSP Ganderbal Shri Sandeep Gupta-IPS.
In the meeting, respectable citizens including Market associations, Auqaf Bodies, Chowkidars, Lumberdars, Sarpanchs, Panchs, youth and other community members of the District participated with full fervour and enthusiasm. Moreover, other senior Police Officers were also present on the said occasion.
The participants present in the meeting appreciated the process of organising such events in the District which provide them opportunity to highlight the grave issues of the society like; drug abuse, domestic violence, speedy justice, electricity deficiency and water scarcity and seeks their redressal for the betterment of all. SSP Ganderbal gave a patient hearing to their issues and assured them that their genuine grievances which are pertaining to other departments will be taken up immediately with the concerned officers for appropriate action, besides issues related to Police would be resolved on priority.
While addressing the participants, SSP Ganderbal urged upon in strengthening the Police Public relations and also sought cooperation in eradicating all types of crimes from the society so that peaceful & crime free atmosphere is created in the area. He further requested the participants to provide information to J&K Police about smuggling of Drugs and other illegal activities if any noticed in the area for initiating appropriate action against the offenders & culprits. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks from both the sides.
