*THREE PERSONS APPREHENDED ALONGWITH CONTRABAND SUBSTANCE.*
*GANDERBAL**06TH, MARCH 2024**Operation Drugs Free Ganderbal Continues.* In continuation to war against *Drugs,* Ganderbal Police arrested three persons with Contraband Substance, which was seized on spot from their possession and the Vehicle used in the commission of the crime also seized.During surprise naka checking at Gratabal crossing, a vehicle bearing Regd. No. JK01AF-6330 (i20), which was coming from Khalmulla towards Nagbal which was stopped by Police Party of PP Nagbal for search & during search Contraband Substance crushed Cannabis 2.6 Kg (Approx.) was recovered and seized on the spot. During preliminary investigation, it came fore that the vehicle was driven by Mohd Furqan Mir S/O Ali Mohd Mir R/O Bilal Colony Soura & moreover two persons were boarded in the aforementioned vehicle, who disclosed their identities as Rayees Ahmad Makdoomi S/O Nazir Ahmad Makdoomi R/O Khalmulla Ganderbal and Dildar Ahmad Hajam S/O Gh Hassan Hajam R/O Rangil Ganderbal. All the 03 accused persons were arrested & the vehicle used in the commission of the crime was also seized.In this regard, Case FIR No. *38/2024*, under relevant sections of law stands registered at PS Ganderbal & further investigation taken up. Ganderbal Police requests Community members to share information regarding Drug Peddlers with J&K Police in shaping crime free society.
