*Scores of social and political workers join JKUM*Srinagar 23 February: Jammu Kashmir United Movement on Friday held a meeting of its workers at Hatbura Ganderbal.According to a press release, the meeting was presided over by the party’s President Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar.Besides Jabbar, JKUM working district president Ganderbal Sheikh Gh Ahmad Saloora, Spokesperson Muzaffer Ahmad, Youth president Ganderbal Sajad Ahmad and party Block President Shairpathri Wani and other leaders were also present at the meeting.Addressing the gathering, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar emphasised the paramount need to fortify the party’s cadres by intensifying public outreach across all localities and vicinities.”It is imperative that we connect with the people at the grassroots level and understand their concerns. Unlike some dynastic political parties, JKUM is committed to genuine representation and service. Let us not be swayed by emotional slogans and empty assurances; instead, let our actions and commitment speak louder than words,” he said.Sheikh Saloora in his adress said that under the dynamic leadership of our esteemed President, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar, we aim to address the needs of the people and pave the way for a brighter tomorrow.
