Independence Day Celebrations at District Court Ganderbal and Munsiff Court Kangan.

Ganderbal, August 15, 2024: The District Judiciary, Ganderbal in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority, Ganderbal, celebrated Independence Day with great fervor and enthusiasm. The celebrations took place at the District Court, Ganderbal, and Munsiff Court, Kangan.

Mr. Ritesh Kumar Dubey, Hon’ble Principal District & Sessions Judge, Ganderbal (Chairman, District Legal Services Authority) Ganderbal, presided over the function and hoisted the National Flag in the premises of the District Court, Ganderbal. The Hon’ble Judge also took the salute at the District Court, Ganderbal.

On the occasion, Mr. Fayaz Ahmad Qureshi, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ganderbal, Ms. Nusrat Ali Hakak, Secretary DLSA Ganderbal, Ms. Mainaaz Qadir, Additional Special Mobile Magistrate, Ganderbal, Mr. Mohammad Waseem Mirza, Munsiff/JMIC Ganderbal, Ms. Mufti Nahida , Trainee, Civil Judge Junior Division, Mr. Shafat Ahmad, Public Prosecutor, Court of Pr. Sessions Judge Ganderbal, Assistant Public Prosecutors, Mr. Sajad Hyder Salathi, President District Bar Association Ganderbal Sr. Advocate Shabir Ahmad Masoodi, and other bar members & lawyers were present.

Similarly, at Munsiff Court, Kangan, Mr. Easrar-ul-Nabi, Munsiff/Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Kangan, hoisted the National Flag and presided over the celebrations.

The Independence Day celebrations were marked by patriotic fervor, with staff and officials of the District Judiciary, District Legal Services Authority & prosecution in attendance. The event served as a reminder of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the importance of upholding the values of democracy and justice.
