High Court Staff Welfare Association Hosts Farewell Ceremony for Mr. Haroon Rashid Bhat

Srinagar, November 28, 2024 – The High Court Staff Welfare Association (HCSWA) organized a heartfelt farewell ceremony to honor Mr. Haroon Rashid Bhat, Registrar Management, who retired today after an exemplary 41 years of service to the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

The event, held in the High Court premises, was a testament to Mr. Bhat’s enduring legacy of courage, integrity, and commitment. The program began with opening remarks by the Worthy Registrar General, Mr. Shahzaad Azeem, who lauded Mr. Bhat’s outstanding career and his unwavering support for his colleagues and subordinates.

Mr. Haroon Rashid Bhat addressed the gathering, sharing reflections on his long and illustrious career. His words resonated with the audience, filled with lessons of dedication and perseverance. Following his speech, brief remarks were delivered by the Worthy Registrar Judicial, Mr. Farooq Bhat; Joint Registrar Judicial, Mr. Abdul Bari; and CPC e-Courts, Mr. Fayaz Qureshi, who each acknowledged Mr. Bhat’s outspoken nature, leadership qualities, and his invaluable contributions to the institution.

Mr. Mukhtar Ahmad Wani, President of HCSWA, in his address, highlighted various aspects of Mr. Bhat’s tenure, focusing on his fearless advocacy for justice, his steadfast principles, and his role as a mentor and guide to his colleagues.

As a token of love and respect, the High Court Staff Welfare Association presented Mr. Haroon Rashid Bhat with a commemorative memento and a cheque of ₹50,000, symbolizing their gratitude for his outstanding contributions.

The event was expertly anchored by Mr. Syed Anwar, General Secretary of HCSWA, and saw the participation of numerous officers and officials who came together to celebrate Mr. Bhat’s remarkable journey.

The High Court Staff Welfare Association once again extends its heartfelt wishes to Mr. Haroon Rashid Bhat for a fulfilling and joyous retirement. His legacy will continue to inspire and guide the institution for years to come.
